Actually, I have been saying this as well...going against the grain of pollsters and media hacks. This election cycle has nothing to compare to but the pollsters and media hacks, making names for themselves in the past by "being the most correct", have been falling all over themselves justifying why they have all been so far off.

I, Snooper, absolutely refuse to "give up" on Fred Thompson. In my vast experience on this planet we call Earth, I have learned many, many things. The most prominent thing I have learned is that God works in mysterious ways, his wonders to be seen...as it were.

Is this wishful thinking on my part? Perhaps but, stranger things have happened. Against all odds, I have survived being blown up, shot, stabbed, hit on the head and left for dead. I have survived being "abandoned in the field" and for those of you that know what that is, you know what I mean. all others will be relegated to guess-work.

Prayer changes things. Case in point? My neighbor. Her husband is an idiot. He left his wife and children for a better life, quit his job and has taken up with an equally dismal failure of a human being. They now live in a tent/trailer with zero income. The bank has started foreclosure proceedings on my neighbor's home and the family has ZERO income. But, let not your hearts be troubled. Through neighborhood outreach and NOT free government retarded programs, prayers are being answered and doors are opening for this family. They had a garage sale yesterday and brought in nearly $1,700...IN A GARAGE SALE! Hello?

Their medical needs are being met and funds are coming in in direct response to prayer. Prayer works and does change things. Secularly speaking, this should not have happened. The Pundits say it cannot happen. What do they know? Past experiences tells them so? BAH! Screw the Pundits.

What has this to do with Fred Thompson?

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

The irony of this passage of Divine Scripture are the numbers therein. First, the #7. Second, the #14, twice the #7. Third, the #2. Do the math.

The "change" we need is National Healing and Fred Thompson can bring this to the table. I haven't noticed anyone with this message, including Huckabee. I don't give a rat's ass about poll numbers. I never have and never will. I trust my heart. Nothing else matters.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd. Eccl 12:11 (goads being sharpened sticks to make the oxen move)

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools...Rom 1:22

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1 Cor 1:25

This post wasn't meant to become a sermon but I do know who is control of this pathetic man-run globe...well at least man tries to think he runs it. Their eyes are in the wrong place.

The point is, the pollsters are focused on themselves whereas Fred Thompson is focused on what is best for the country whereas, ALL of the other candidates are focused on themselves.

Pray for a Godly Awakening in this country and see what happens.
