A few friends of ours are passing rainbow pictures back and forth and the comments accompanying them are quite hysterical. One was sent via one of the authors at Do The Right Thing and the other was sent via the author of Right In A Left World. Whereas the pictures are funny, at least to me, I decided to use them for another purpose.

What "IS" on the ends of the rainbows? Myth has it that there is a pot of gold awaiting those that are fortunate to find where the rainbow meets the earth. So be it. However, in this current political arena of American political machinations, something else entirely can be found at the end of the rainbow here in the States.

I have just started reading Michael's book for the second time through. All three books I have mentioned above are must reads. Seriously. All three must become Best Seller list components. The only way this will happen is for all that read this post and many others being published as I write, is to buy the books, read them and by word of mouth, propel these books to the highest rankings possible.

War News: Vets On The Hill 4/8/08 PART 1

Yesterday on 08 APR 08, a group of men and women - Patriots - both currently serving in the United States Armed Services and those of service past, gathered in a Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel in Arlington, VA. The Gathering began - per orders - at 0500 hours and, all be known and told, Uncle Jimbo from Blackfive was there, having the evening before swore to be present and accounted for "later on that morning".

The intensity of the concentration to the mission at hand was truly a marvel to behold. Mission parameters were established and anti-flanking controls were set into place. As only Warriors could possibly understand, sloganeering was bantered about and there was in evidence, inter-service rivalries - SOP. Yet, in the midst of it all, the camaraderie was exquisitely prevalent and Mission Jitters were dealt with accordingly. American Hero Charlton Heston Has Died

I met him many years ago in NYC at La Guardia...not that he would ever remember me but I remember the encounter and was quite impressed. I had no idea that he was directly in front of me until he decided to do an about face and we collided.

He said, "Oh sorry. Pardon me." He then walked off. The folks I was with at the time asked me what I said back and I had the deer in the headlight look. Being so young, I just stood there having met one of my heroes and didn't do a damn thing but stare in disbelief that I let a chance of a lifetime vanish. Oh well.

War News: General David Petraeus Coming To Town

Remember last September when the Leftinistra with their defeatist yammerings and their treasonous actions tried to besmirch the character of General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker as they were about to give their testimony? Does anyone recall the end result? They lost, as usual. Seeing that they are so vested in and with defeat because it makes them feel better about themselves and they love our enemies more than they love their fellow citizens and military members, they should have been happy that they lost. But, alas, it didn't. It just got them angry. Now, General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker are coming back to town and the Leftinistra and their rabid moosetwit clowns on the anti-Americanist Blogdom are getting ready to be trounced once again. Imagine that.

Cyber Pastor and myself will be in DC with Vets On The Hill this next Monday through Wednesday and we will try and broadcast via BTR. On Monday evening, 4/7/2008, Cyber Pastor has a show scheduled at 1800 EST and Sonlit Knight will have the usual show at 1900 EST. Hopefully, these shows will be conducive to the powers that be at the Monday evening festivities. So far, there are no socials or dinners scheduled but that might change. We will try and round up some folks for the shows.

As you can see from the links in the very beginning of this post, the Leftinistra were quite active in trying to disparage the man that they themselves confirmed unanimously and they are, once again, trying to do the same thing. Disgusting, isn't it? So, in honor of General David Petraeus and the men and women fighting the enemy in the Global War On Terror, I am going to post here at ANO an article I wrote and placed up at Digital Journal that did not make it to this blog.
