Nancy Pelosi. The Speaker of the House of the United States house of Representatives. Third in line to POTUS. How did she get there? She lied her way into the position. That's how.

Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told cheering supporters Saturday that Democrats would move the nation in "a new direction ... for all Americans, not just the chosen few," and pledged an ambitious agenda on subjects ranging from House ethics to foreign policy.

Speaking in San Francisco the day after adjournment of the Republican-controlled 2005-06 Congress, Pelosi declared -- as she had throughout her party's successful November election campaign -- that "my highest priority, immediately, is to stop the war in Iraq." [...]

Well? She didn't. She can't. She won't. She lied to get into office.

Media Matters for America, Hillary Clinton's media army, defends Nancy Pelosi when she is under attack from people like Michael Savage. They are outraged that someone would dare disparage Nancy Pelosi but they have no outrage whatsoever when Olbermann has a China Syndrome on his TV news show, in front of his five listeners, disparaging the President of the United States. I smell a Double Standard there, don't you?

One thing that Nancy is really GREAT at is wasting Americans' tax dollars.

Wasting time and our money.

As we explained earlier, the Department of Treasury sent them a letter on October 23, 2007, telling them that anything later than mid November would cost ordinary citizens to have their tax returns delayed and she ignored that to play her political games.

Took a month and a half to do their jobs and Congress is still behind now again because Pelosi is incapable of doing her job.

Maybe Pelosi should go back to baking cookies for her grandkids because she has been an utter failure as speaker of the house.

That's what Mr Savage said as well. The woman is a psycho.

I wonder if Nancy's reactions to the Gathering of Eagles is the same as her reactions to Code Pink.

Among the many gaffes of the one called Pelosi, a more recent turn of events has caused her emotional underpinnings to be exorcised to the fore and she said:

They like this war, they want this war to continue. That was a revelation to me. I had thought they would listen to their constituents and change their position.

Come again, Nancy dear? She latere tried to backwash the comment but it was too late. She is incapable of leading and she is incapable of controlling her emotions.

Just last week the Leftinistra were at each other's throats because their collective asses couldn't get on the same page on any subject or isuue. They have been so busy promoting their BDS and introducing bill after bill KNOWING they didn't have a rat's chance in hell of passing all for the political game of, "MINE! MINE!", that nothing has been achieved and America suffers because of it.

This 110th CONgress is an international laughing stock. The problem that Nancy and her crew of idiots is this. The political leaders on the Right have finally started listening to their constituents and the Leftinistra have been listening to their minority and insignificant constituents. There are more of us than there are of them and Pelosi's Clan are powerless to negate that fact.

I knew then that Pelosi was not up for the job she lied herself into. I can hardly wait until she turns in her grovel, I mean gavel, to the next Republican.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Syria was the liveliest topic inside the Beltway last week. Three points — one political, one constitutional and one relative to Mrs. Pelosi’s job skills — are pertinent.

Nancy’s Bad Mistake
Today on CNN, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) said he “strongly disagrees” with Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) bipartisan delegation to Syria, calling it a “mistake” and “bad for the United States of America.”

Lieberman added, “I say this because we’re in a war. We’re in a war against the Islamic terrorists who attacked us on 9-11-01.” CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer responded, “But they had nothing to do with 9-11.” Lieberman dodged the issue and changed topics.

It’s not surprising that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, having entered the nether world of Middle East diplomacy, has committed a blunder and made something of a fool of herself. Her critics, however, should not try to use this as ammunition to make her stay out of this arena. Instead, the Speaker should pick herself up, dust herself off and try again.

Taking its cues from those who should be totally discredited, and set out to pasture for misleading us into this disastrous war, major media outlets like Meet the Press, (April CNN and The Washington Post (”Pratfall in Damascus,” April 5) have lambasted Pelosi for her “irresponsible” trip and for her “incompetence”–instead of suggesting that maybe we have a sane political leader who, at long last, understands that we need to maintain dialogue even with those we see as our enemies or “foes.”

Nancy Pelosi, Should She Resign as Speaker?

Her unauthorized trip to Syria has been all over the news this week. She was asked by the Bush administration not to make a trip to Syria to engage in “dialogue” with Syria’s President Assad, but took it upon herself to travel there anyways.

While there, Democrat Congressman Tom Lantos, who traveled with her, declared that Democrats have an “Alternative Foreign Policy”. Pelosi herself said, “We have no illusions but great hope.”

After the visit, in a telephone interview with the Associated Press, Pelosi stated, “Our message was President Bush’s message.”

Uh, Nancy? Are you sure about that?

The Call For Nancy Pelosi To Resign From A Democrat!

Will she? Why, no. Why should she? The Leftinistra NEVER do any wrong-doings…just ask them.

“Nancy Pelosi has persistently violated her duty to exercise her speaker powers in accordance with the Constitution and the current “106th Congress House Rules Manual” (House Document 106-320).

In short, she has fostered what is known as “tyranny by the majority” — and violated House Rules that give her the duty to maintain order, civility, and decorum, and to foster “comity” (a word rarely used these days, meaning “mutual respect”).

The “House Rules Manual” includes Jefferson’s “Manual of Parliamentary Procedures,” originally drafted by the founder of the Democratic Party when, as vice president, he presided over the Senate from 1797 to 1801.

In 1837 the House, provided that the provisions of Jefferson’s Manual should “govern the House in all cases to which they are applicable and in which they are not inconsistent with [subsequently adopted rules].”

Jefferson’s manual, which is still in effect, was a codification of 18th century “common law” and re-affirms that House Rules are “the only weapons by which the minority can defend itself . . . and by a strict adherence to which the weaker party can only be protected from those irregularities and abuses which these forms were intended to check, and which the wantonness of power is but too often apt to suggest to large and successful majorities.”

Currently, Pelosi, who is second in line to the president, often describes herself as a partner in his power — a higher role than the Constitution grants to the vice president, who is first in the line of secession — and whose only official duties are confined to presiding over the Senate.

Pelosi Oversteps the Electorate

In closing the recent debate on the $125 billion Emergency Defense Appropriations bill’s provision to bring our troops home from Iraq next year, Pelosi — purporting to speak for the entire electorate — proclaimed “The American people have lost faith in the president’s conduct of this war . . . The American people see the reality of the war; the president does not.”..”

Clearly and, once again, a Leftinistra has overstepped their bounds and not one coward will stand up to IT.

The Logan Act

Conducting Foreign Relations Without Authority: The Logan Act Summary

The Logan Act, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 953, states:

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

The Logan Act was intended to prohibit United States citizens without authority from interfering in relations between the United States and foreign governments. There appear to have been no prosecutions under the Act in its more than 200 year history. However, there have been a number of judicial references to the Act, and it is not uncommon for it to be used as a point of challenge concerning dealings with foreign officials. Although attempts have been made to repeal the Act, it remains law and at least a potential sanction to be used against anyone who without authority interferes in the foreign relations of the United States.
