Beds and warranties and guarantees. This is a Consumer Alert.
For medical conditions that will not be disclosed, we bought a mega-dollar bed some time ago and the warranty/guarantee was for 10 years. Should anything at all go "wrong" with the bed that was purchased with hard-earned cash for several house payments, the warranty/guarantee was that the bed would be replaced, no strings attached as long as an associate did the inspections.
The inspection came out - for a fee - and in the report, stated that the bed had indeed failed.
The no-strings-attached warranty/guarantee has been denied and we have been told that the decision is final.
If you intend to have any financial relationships with Mattress Firm, it would be well advised to look elsewhere.
