I was always taught as a wee lad by my father that it is always best in the long run if people around you and those you have influence over, knew you to be solid in your stances. He also said that it is best to be honest and portray yourself as yourself.
As I observe the current political climate in the United States, my father's words echo unendingly. I cannot help to incredulously laugh as I hear the emotional appeals by one Barack Obama to the seemingly emotionally unbalanced members of our society. I also wonder why it is that this would-be Presidential Aspirant is not called on his blatant "untruths" - one in particular.
Seeing and hearing that he and his wife get quite upset when anyone uses his middle name Hussein, one would think - if they were rational thinking - that he would stay away from statements such as, "When Arab-Americans are rounded up without the benefit of an attorney, that bothers me...". Where is his substantiation for that? In Blogdom, we conservatives don't expect the "other side" to substantiate a single point (read that dull) they make because they cannot.
That being said, why is Barack Obama given a free pass accusing anyone of "rounding up Arab-Americans" and not offering legal representation? As he said in the video, that "bothers me", it gives the impression that he knows of such instances. So, why hasn't the news media brought these families forward? Where are the Arab-Americans being held? How many Arab-Americans have been "rounded up"? He used that phrase "rounded up" in a Texas rally. Was it a play on words among "cowboys"?
It "bothers me" that such ignorance and obvious malarkey isn't challenged at all. Where is the national outrage of such alleged activity? It would indeed "bother me" as well - if it was taking place. And, I don't want to hear that it is happening but we just don't know about it. If that is the case, what is Barack hiding? He seems to know all about it.
Come forward, Mr Obama and let us know the where, who and why. Unless, naturally, it is mere idle chatter meant to deceive the masses for a victorious bid for the White House.
Can we trust such people? Isn't this the dreaded Fear Mongering? If he cannot provide the substantiation for such a charge, is he not guilty of fear mongering? If so, why is he allowed to continue?
So many questions with absolutely no coming answers. Such is what an empty suit is comprised of.
