This is news? To the critical thinkers of the Reagan Conservatives, this is NOT news. However, to the Leftinistra, the Armies of the Socialist Liberals within the Democratic and Republican Parties, this topic is anathema.
In their minds, they are “strictly by the book” and they have this mental illusion that they are the ONLY ones that “speak for the American People”. How arrogant is this? We all hear them jibber-jabber (phrase taken from my good friend Pastor Ed) that “the American people this” and “the American people that”. Ludicrous does not even begin to describe their demeaning rhetoric.
There have been few and far between in a very long time that have actually spoken for the American People.
From what I take from years of studying the Constitution of the United States, the ONLY one that “speaks for the American People” as a whole is the President of the United States. The CONgress Critters are relegated to “speaking for the American People of their districts of accountability” and very FEW are held accountable for anything. The CONgress is duty bound by the Constitution to represent the people that elected them in the first place and no one else. PERIOD!
Then and only then can true Congressional representation take affect. Then and ONLY then can the CONgress Critters present to the President what the “majority” of the American People desire. Then and ONLY then can the President then proclaim that the Ameican People Have Decided.
A Congressman has no Constitutional authority to vote on an issue the way the people of a different part of the country believe. For example, a Congressmen from Texas in a particular district should vote as the people in THAT district want him to and NOT how the people in Connecticut want him to.
If our CONgress Critters would revert back to the Framer’s Design, America would be in much better hands than it is now, today. Our CONgress Critters have morphed into representing what the Party Lines are and then claiming the American People have spoken. This is total hogwash and is a lie second to none.
Prove me wrong…I dare you.

TRUDAT! As I have written on this blog and MANY others trying to get the word out, what we are seeing is the typical divide and conquer maneuver of an enemy force called socialism. It is a distraction move designed to confuse the REAL ISSUE and that issue is the War Against Terrorism.
Slander and deceit are their tools and if they can make someone else look worse than they themselves are, it is a POLITICAL victory to them. And that victory is achieved at ANY cost. It is ALL about political power, politcal posturing and political gain. BOTH main parties are doing this and it disgusts this American Veteran to no end.
In all of the political falderal, where do the American People come in? Where are we “represented”? Do they even give a damn? I aver that they care NOTHING for the American People. They care ONLY for their own positions of power and control.
Oh, they most certainly do present the aura of caring but when you get right down to the nitty-gritty, you can bet the back of your front that they could care less about you…just vote and forget.
