I wrote the following at Digital Journal on 1/28, received 10 votes and some "personal contacts" letting me know what a Nazi Fascist I am. Good. That means I am doing my job...Digital Journal is a Canadian citizen journalist site and it is packed with socialist dhimmis. Go figure. I also wrote a piece that was "deactivated" because it was considered "hate speech" by Canadian Law seeing that you cannot speak the truth about the Islamic Global Cultural Jihad in Canada...ask Steyn.
Anyway, here it is:
Relax, liberals across the globe. There is a break-through and we have the technology required to at least begin the long journey to a possible cure. We all know that liberalism is a mental disorder and has been known to create hatred.
C. MacLeod Fuller of The American Thinker has initiated a process that is very similar to the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. As in AA, there is a side-group called Alanon and that is for folks that are related to those that are members of AA...friends and family members of alcoholics can join up and as the alcoholic begins the long journey to recovery, so can the friends and relatives learn to deal with "the new person".
The new program for folks needing to recover from the Liberal Pathology will be called LibAnon. At the end of this piece, the 13 Steps of LibAnon will be presented. But first...
Can a liberal manage to recover? That all depends. I would think that the first step to recovery would be to rid oneself of the guilt that caused one to become a pathological liberal from the start. Alas, I have been shown that that is not the first step.
I couldn't help but to consider the following from a fellow human (hopefully) after I learned of LibAnon...[...] In 1968, when Kennedy was gaining momentum and piling up primary victories it looked as though he would win the presidential nomination. But before he could be safely ensconced inside "the bubble" of 24-hour federal protection he was assassinated. And his progressive challenge to the war in Vietnam and to poverty at home was stopped in its tracks.
OOPS...the socialism is oozing from that one...damn Capitalist pigs! If one were to read the entire piece at the Huffington Post, penned by none other than Joseph A. Palermo, a well-known socialist, all doubt would be removed what the man is as compared to what he pretends to be. He was referring to Bobby Kennedy but some verbiage in the comments section said something about JFK but those ignorant comments have since been removed for the obvious reasons.
In 2008, Obama is gaining momentum, and hopefully people inside his organization are cognizant of the fact that he constitutes a very real threat to the likes of Blackwater, Dyncorps, Halliburton, and the hundreds of other private companies currently profiteering from the Iraq occupation. [...]
A term I tuned into in this piece was the term "progressive". Sorry, Joe...Bobby wasn't a progressive, at least not in the sense that the modern day liberal so uses the term. Liberal as a term or label, became anathema at one point in our history and it was abandoned for "progressive" to give the impression that the "liberal" was forward thinking whereas the "conservative" mind set was a backwards way of thinking. Gee, I wonder why "conservatives" didn't feel the need to "change our name".
Naturally, the opposite is true. The modern day "progressive" is nothing more than the way long ago socialist and everyone knows - well, at least those with a half-aware mind - that socialism fails miserably wherever it rears its ugly head.
I wonder what Joe is "profiteering" in. Alas, that is another topic for another time...unless, naturally, it is OK for Joe to "profit" from something but no one else that disagrees with him can...kind of "digressive" there.
It seems that Joe has a historical lapse in knowledge and is confused about a few things, whether it be purposeful or just doesn't know...it seems that the motives which inspired Sirhan Sirhan's assassination of Kennedy in 1968 escape old Joe and a reminder is in order for the poor lad.
Sirhan believed he was betrayed because of America's support of Israel in the 6-Day war (something a modern day liberal would not do. Also, Sirhan was rather upset with America over the creation of the Nation State of Israel 20 years before. It had nothing to do with Bobby being a liberal or conservative, democrat or republican. Joe is lost.
At any rate, Joe, there is a little history for you to ponder.
The next diatribe Joe The Liberal saunters off into is the following:"Under an Obama Administration Blackwater would no doubt be cut down to size along with Bush's other crony capitalist entities."
Typical socialist/"progressive" nonsense. That exact mind-set got this nation into deep trouble under the military-slice-and-dice Clinton Administration. No thanks, liberal Joe...we tried that a few times...Clinton-Carter and it turned into a major CF.
This is where LibAnon comes into play here. It is an excellent program and it should be mandated. I am positive that the paranoid delusions of the modern day liberal hiding as cowards behind "progressive" can be repaired. The delusions such as Karl Rove and the TNG memos, the Bush Administration or an entity thereof orchestrated 91101, hurricane Katrina was allowed and quite possible steered towards New Orleans because Bush hates blacks, the coronation King George Bush is about to transpire any day now, can be resolved with LibAnon. The delusional list of the paranoid and guilt-ridden modern day liberal is seemingly endless...they go on and on, ad vomitous.I've long figured liberalism was a mental disorder. Now researchers have discovered tantrums may be a sure sign of it.
Jamie Wearing Fool goes on comparing the modern day liberal and temper tantrums in children...amazing science there. An article at Real Clear Politics, now owned in large part by Time, ran an article wondering if being an American Democrat is bad for their health. Perhaps this is why the 13 Steps of LibAnon was borne?
Considering the left has had one long tantrum since George W. Bush was elected, this may offer definitive proof.

9. WE made political and societal amends to Conservatives whenever and wherever possible, except when to do so would cause injury to anyone other than ourselves.
10. WE continued to take personal inventory of our liberal tendencies and when they are exposed promptly admit it, and symbolize that admission by making a generous contribution to the G.O.P. or a Conservative political action committee.
11. WE sought through hard work and dedication to improve our conscious contact with Conservative principles as reflected in Biblical teaching and Western Civilization, and prayed for the strength and ability to constructively carry them out.
12. Having experienced a political awakening of conscience, reality, and responsibility for this and future generations as the result of these Steps, WE evangelize the Conservative message to Liberals, progressives, academicians, and anti-American activists of every stripe wherever we can find them, and practice these principles in all our affairs.
13. Having experienced all of the above, WE vote only for true Conservative Republicans in every election, and plaster our automobiles with the biggest support stickers we can get as a visible outward sign of our inward moral regeneration.

Terrorists and Equipment Removed From The World
OPERATION NETS 27 INSURGENTS IN AD DIWANIYAH
AD DIWANIYAH, Iraq- Bomb-making materials and 27 insurgent suspects were seized during Operation Black Eagle, a combined operation headed by Iraqi Army troops supported by Soldiers and paratroopers from Multi-National Division-Baghdad and Multi-National Division-Center South.
“Fighting was steady throughout the first day,” said Maj. Eric Verzola, spokesman for MND-B’s 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division. “Iraqi soldiers fought bravely alongside coalition forces throughout the day against the anti-Iraqi forces.” Verzola said three anti-Iraqi forces were killed and six others wounded during the operation. He said two Iraqi Army troops and one coalition Soldier were wounded. Troops swept into the city to disrupt militia activity and return security and stability of the volatile city back to the government of Iraq, Verzola said. Soldiers of the 8th Iraqi Army Division began Operation Black Eagle in response to the recent violence threatening to destabilize the region.
A facility was found where several explosively-formed projectiles were in several stages of production. Four EFPs were assembled in the facility and secured. EFP-making materials were also found and secured. Two other locations were found containing homemade explosives. Additionally, six AK-47s, two RPK machine guns and two pistols were found and secured during the operation.
And the above actions further enables the following:
Helping Their Own
BAGHDAD - Lt. Col. Ahmed, commander of the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Brigade, 1st National Police Division handed out supplies to a pair of elementary schools in Southwest Rashid during a joint operation with Company A, 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, April 4. The mission was the first of its kind in the area by the NP battalion and its U.S counterpart. 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division out of Schweinfurt, Germany. The police commander not only took the opportunity to deliver supplies to the Arbid and Ibn Yakhdan schools, but made an assessment of the facilities and the surrounding communities as well.
“This is a good beginning, but I want you to know that we will make the area safe for the children. We want to help you to clean up the trash in this neighborhood and make the people proud to live here,” he told Ms. Noor, the headmistress of the Arbid school in Southwest Rashid. As he spoke, members of his battalion, wearing crisp new uniforms, and displaying a professional demeanor, carried boxes of supplies into the building. A new television set, water dispenser, computer and monitor, power supply and office furniture were brought in, all of which represented progress and hope for the children who will be able to make use of these implements to enhance their education.
“Thank you for helping to care for the children,” Noor said to the police commander during their meeting. “They are your key to safety for the future of Iraq.”
The battalion commander carried a notebook with him, asking what other things the schools needed for future deliveries, conducting a joint inventory with each headmistress to account for the supplies and touring the schools and meeting some of the children there. He walked into one classroom of young girls and was greeted with a chorus of cheers, as the young ladies serenaded the police commander with a traditional Iraqi greeting of respect. He returned the gesture by asking the students to honor their families and teachers, and to work diligently in their lessons.
Maj. Joe Pierce, the commander’s National Police adviser, said that the operation was a resounding success, and an indicator of better days ahead as the new NP unit begins operating in the area. ”He assured the administrators that in addition to securing the schools, he was concerned about securing the surrounding areas,” the native of Nashua, N.H. said. “This was a great chance to get to know the population.”
1st Lt. David Evetts, the company fire support officer from San Antonio, Texas, said, “It shows that we have good partnership- the National Police, coalition forces and NPTT teams — we all work together.”
For other U.S. Soldiers who participated, the successful operation meant a great deal more than just dropping off supplies. ”I think just getting school supplies to the kids shows them that we’re trying to help their education,” said Staff. Sgt. Jeremy S. Mutart, a native of Ketchikan, Alaska and a squad leader with 1st platoon, Company C, 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, whose unit is attached to Company A. “It also shows the American people that we’re not just trying to combat the terrorists here, but we’re trying to help rebuild Iraq from little kids, all the way up to the top.”
As the Iraqi and U.S. troops drove away from the schools, children waved from the windows, reminding everyone of the where real impact of the day’s activities lay.

Rule of Law In Iraq

Now that the trained troops are actually applying what they have learned AND IT IS WORKING, what is there to whine about? Morons.
MOSUL, Iraq - Iraqi Security Forces conducted security sweeps throughout Ninewa Province Tuesday and Wednesday, seizing black market fuel, illegal munitions, and bomb-making equipment and detaining suspected anti-Iraqi forces.
“The terrorist actions aim at creating disorder and destabilizing the situation in the city. God willing, we are going to uproot the terrorists from this city,” concluded Duraid Kashmoula, Ninewa’s provincial governor.
Kashmoula explained the senior leadership’s role and the need for the crackdown.
”Today we have a Mosul-wide security operation that parallels the Baghdad Law Enforcement Plan and aims at preventing any saboteur or terrorist from gaining a foothold in Mosul. We realized that we have to participate [ISF] in the operation. We have noticed that the IA soldiers and IP officers are well deployed and are cooperative with each other; each based on its area of operation,” said Kashmoula.
IA soldiers from the 2nd and 3rd Iraqi Army Divisions supported IP officers in raiding suspected improvised explosive device factories, suspected illegal munitions caches and known insurgent hideouts both inside and outside the various city limits.
“Our roles - myself and the IP commander, along with the 2IA Division commander, are making tours to all the troops to look closely into their performance and style of dealing with the people,” Kashmoula added.
A total of 179 individuals were detained during the two-day sweep, eight terrorists were killed, and the ISF seized numerous small arms, ammunition, projectiles and IED-making material.
IP also seized hundreds of liters of black market fuel that will be utilized by the ISF in their generators and to fuel vehicles, allowing for increased patrols to provide security for the province’s cities, according to IP officials.
Coalition troops from the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division aided the Iraqi patrols with vehicle and logistical support, to include air support.
The Iraqi troops are trying to further eliminate the following:
Twelve Iraqi civilians were killed and 43 were injured including one policeman after a suicide truck bomber detonated a vehicle suspected of containing chlorine in western Ramadi at approximately 11 a.m. today.
The attack occurred when a white truck approached an Iraqi Police checkpoint in the Ta’meem district of Ramadi at a high rate of speed. The police standing guard attempted to signal the driver, but he did not stop, forcing the officers to engage the vehicle with small arms fire. It is unclear whether the police gunfire caused the vehicle to explode or if the driver detonated it. Coalition Forces arrived after the explosion to assist in the medical evacuation and set up security around the blast site.
The injured were evacuated to a local hospital as well as Coalition medical facility for initial treatment. Urgent casualties were further evacuated to a larger military facility for more extensive care.
Perhaps if the Leftinistra spent their “valuable time” actually supporting the efforts instead of enabling our enemies, we would win all that much sooner. Morons.

IRAQI ARMY CALLS IN AIR STRIKE TO ENGAGE MILITIA MEN
FOB KALSU, Iraq - Fixed wing aircraft conducted an air strike against armed militia men in Diwaniyah April 7.
Iraqi Army and coalition forces as part of Operation Black Eagle used a strategic air strike to defend against illegally armed militia men using shoulder-fired rocket propelled grenades.
IA personnel were informed by local residents, through a tip line, of militia men employing RPGs in the area.
IA made positive identification of the militia men and called for the air strike.
The incident highlights the growing confidence the people of Diwaniyah are having with the Iraqi Security Force as seen in this indication of popular support through use of the local tip line.

“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may well have committed a felony in traveling to Damascus this week, against the wishes of the president, to communicate on foreign-policy issues with Syrian President Bashar Assad. The administration isn’t going to want to touch this political hot potato, nor should it become a partisan issue. Maybe special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, whose aggressive prosecution of Lewis Libby establishes his independence from White House influence, should be called back.
The Logan Act makes it a felony and provides for a prison sentence of up to three years for any American, “without authority of the United States,” to communicate with a foreign government in an effort to influence that government’s behavior on any “disputes or controversies with the United States.” Some background on this statute helps to understand why Ms. Pelosi may be in serious trouble…”

Expulsion, Censure, Reprimand, and Fine: LegislativeDiscipline in the House of Representatives
Summary
The House of Representatives is expressly authorized within the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 5, clause 2) to discipline or “punish” its own Members. This authority of the institution of the House to discipline a Member for “disorderly Behaviour” is in addition to any criminal or civil liability that a Member of the House may incur for particular misconduct, and is a device or procedure designed not so much as merely a punishment of the individual Member, but rather ultimately as a measure to protect the institutional integrity of the House of Representatives, its proceedings and its reputation.
Congressional discipline of a Member by the House of Representatives is done by the House itself, without the necessity of Senate concurrence, and may take several forms. The most common forms of discipline in the House are now “expulsion,” “censure,” or “reprimand,” although the House may also discipline its Members in others ways, including fine or monetary restitution, loss of seniority, and suspension or loss of certain privileges. In addition to such sanctions imposed by the full House of Representatives, the standing committee in the House dealing with ethics and official conduct matters, the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct, is authorized by House Rules to issue a formal Committee reproach in the form of a “Letter of Reproval” for misconduct which does not rise to the level of consideration or sanction by the entire House of Representatives. Additionally, such Committee has also expressed its disapproval of conduct in informal letters and communications to Members.
The House may generally discipline its Members for violations of statutory law, including crimes; for violations of internal congressional rules; or for any conduct which the House of Representatives finds has reflected discredit upon the institution. Thus, each House of Congress has disciplined its own Members for conduct which has not necessarily violated any specific rule or law, but which was found to breach its privileges, demonstrate contempt for the institution, or which was found to discredit the House or Senate. When the most severe sanction of expulsion has been employed in the House, however, the conduct has historically involved either disloyalty to the United States Government, or the violation of a criminal law involving the abuse of one’s official position, such as bribery.

The Logan Act
Conducting Foreign Relations Without Authority: The Logan Act Summary
The Logan Act, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 953, states:
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.
The Logan Act was intended to prohibit United States citizens without authority from interfering in relations between the United States and foreign governments. There appear to have been no prosecutions under the Act in its more than 200 year history. However, there have been a number of judicial references to the Act, and it is not uncommon for it to be used as a point of challenge concerning dealings with foreign officials. Although attempts have been made to repeal the Act, it remains law and at least a potential sanction to be used against anyone who without authority interferes in the foreign relations of the United States.
