Where Is Palestine and Who Are The Palestinians?

In the generation in which we now live, there is no excuse for the disinformation and the misinformation we see teeming from the various sources of the alleged uber-educated. So many of us are incapable to think for ourselves. We don't have what it takes.
We have been indoctrinated into allowing others to think for us because we are ill-equipped to reason out our own conclusions. I find such is the case when trying to discern that which is taking place in the Middle East, especially where Israel and the mythological nation of the Palestinians are conflicted.

Who are the Palestinians? What is a Palestinian? All we hear about is that the Palestinians want their own country and Israel is in the way, correct? Not so fast. This is where research and digging and drawing your own conclusions come in, based on factual and verifiable assertions, naturally. Granted, this idea to come to your own conclusion based on history is alien to a large part of the human race. It is so much easier to take the word of someone that theoretically has more education than you, or me.

Education is not enough. Knowledge is not enough. Passing college or university classes to obtain the desired degree is merely a stepping stone. Being able to take a great amount of data and being able to discern truth from various sources is where wisdom comes into play.

It is said that a Palestinian is whatever Yasser Arafat said they were. Sorry...not good enough. To ascertain a definitive narrative of the current situation, Joan Peters' book From Time Immemorial is a must read.

The term "Palestinian" is a contrived term, meant to be a derogatory term. Their roots are Philistine. They were a conquered people, first by the Jews which settled Israel centuries before the Romans came...it was their Promised Land and in 70 AD, the Romans came and enslaved the Jews. The Romans called them and declared them to be Palestine...it was renamed. Palestine never existed before the Romans came or after they left.

Then came first the Islamic Jihad Crusades and the Christian Crusades to retake the lands the Islamic Jihad Crusades took from the Romans. It really is that simple. The Palestinians don't exist and have never been...they are Philistines. They are Arabs.

Myths Of The Middle East is a very good, short and concise article found here.
[...] There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of 1 percent of the landmass.

But that's too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today. Greed. Pride. Envy. Covetousness. No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough.

What about Islam's holy sites? There are none in Jerusalem.

Shocked? You should be. I don't expect you will ever hear this brutal truth from anyone else in the international media. It's just not politically correct.

I know what you're going to say: "Farah, the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem represent Islam's third most holy sites."

Not true. In fact, the Koran says nothing about Jerusalem. It mentions Mecca hundreds of times. It mentions Medina countless times. It never mentions Jerusalem. With good reason. There is no historical evidence to suggest Mohammed ever visited Jerusalem. [...]
In a nutshell, the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis is a contrived hoax meant to excuse terrorist attacks against Israel. We will take a look at this in a series of articles soon coming. It may or may not surprise anyone but getting a jump on the research will save those embarrassing comments sure to follow from the uneducated in the history of the Middle East. The USSR had a major role.
[...] So what's the solution to the Middle East mayhem? Well, frankly, I don't think there is a man-made solution to the violence. But, if there is one, it needs to begin with truth. Pretending will only lead to more chaos. Treating a 5,000-year-old birthright backed by overwhelming historical and archaeological evidence equally with illegitimate claims, wishes and wants gives diplomacy and peacekeeping a bad name.
