In other developments, ArmySergeant, has issued apologies to Michelle Malkin and others for the threats issued against them and certain IVAW members have had their memberships either terminated or indefinitely suspended. Details are here. We at A Newt One have also received a comment in one of our posts reflecting the same sentiments from ArmySergeant, located here.

Regardless of the suspended or terminated IVAW memberships and the participation in the event forbidden, these fruit loops are still at large and are not thrown under a jail cell and the keys destroyed yet. The danger looms. They are unhinged having been fed lie after lie after lie.

Direct Action to Stop the War Protests on Iraq War Anniversary

Direct Action, folks. Do you know what this entails? Do you see the Big Picture yet?

This winter, a group of Bay Area activists re-started Direct Action to Stop the War (DASW), with an eye towards two actions to protest the anniversary of the US-led war and occupation of Iraq. DASW is seeking more creativity, energy, experience, and connections to help pull off this year's events, which will focus attention on the prominent role played by war-profiteering corporations in the U.S. occupation of Iraq.

Two "mass direct actions" are being planned for the fifth anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. For March 19th, 2008-the fifth anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq-DASW is organizing a day of decentralized, multiple-target direct action against government offices and war profiteers in downtown San Francisco. DASW has a list of San Francisco offices of federal agencies, corporations with military contracts or contracts in Iraq, politicians who have failed to stop the war, and foreign embassies of countries linked to the war in Iraq on its website. I am ready to rumble. This is escalating at a fevered pitch and it can end several ways. The "correct" way would be for the pols to stand together and denounce these groups and empower the authorities to actually intervene. The only other alternatives are as follows:

1) wait it out and see what happens and then do something
2) let them have their way and fame and patch the country back together later
3) stomp them into the magma

The communist and useless collection of human refuse is called POG - Pittsburgh Organizing Group - and have a long record of lawlessness (all in the name of freedom...can you say Anarchists?) Interesting...POG - "sounds like" p20g - I am sure there is no connection.

Pittsburgh Organizing Group (POG) is a radical group based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania working to affect systemic progressive change in society. We seek to understand and oppose the inter-connected forms of oppression while utilizing non-hierarchical, consensus-based organizing.

Is this not enough? This group as so many others, advocates the overthrow of the United States Constitution and bring in either communism, socialism or some morphed and unhinged facsimile. The Oaths Of Service...Winter Soldiers Listen Up

We hear so much from the frauds and cowards of the IVAW and similar shallow units about how they whine and were wronged and most claim they never signed up to go to war. Regardless, they have ALL violated their Oaths of Service.

The Oath of Enlistment

"I, (state name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

The Oath of Office (for officers):

"I, (state name) (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of (state rank) do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance tot he same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God."

Every single "Winter Soldier" since 1971 has violated these oaths...including John f'ing Kerry.

Period. If there were "crimes" committed, in accordance with the Oaths sworn, it was there duty to act upon it then and there through proper channels and not wait until it was convenient or until they were discharged with less than honorable discharges...disgruntled doesn't count as after-the-fact. If the "crimes" were not reported, they are as guilty as anyone else and should suffer the same fate as those they accuse.

Period.

It is apparent that the members of the Fraud Vets of IVAW, sock puppets of the VVAW, all want to be John Kerry fraud wannabes. Why theoretical "men" would so strongly desire to emulate a fraud (John Kerry) is still quite a puzzle to me and other true American Patriots.

In an article in AlterNet (go figure), we find a poor miscreant tapping about the usual garbage so common among cowards and those that vowed their Oaths of Service under false pretenses. I suppose the members of this fraudulently represented group of fools haven't received the memo that the Winter Soldier I has been proven to be the sham, lie and corrupt group of charlatans that they are or, were...and still are.

U.S. veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are planning to descend on Washington from Mar. 13-16 to testify about war crimes they committed or personally witnessed in those countries. [...]

Question(s): are this idiots going to turn themselves over to the authorities for prosecution? They said that they will use videos and testimony...will they be willing to prove that which they claim? If so, are they prepared to face the consequences of their theoretical "crimes"? If not, are they willing to be publicly abased and shown to be the frauds that we already know that they are?

I can hardly wait for March 13 - 16. I'll be there. I wonder if they know that their numbers are dwindling. I also wonder if they really know who and which groups finances their "operations". I do.

In a previous post here: Winter Soldier Myth...Kerry Lied?, was meant as a partial tongue-in-cheek sentiment because the issue is indeed a painful memory.

As has been finally revealed and exposed, the original Winter Soldier quagmire was and still is the attempt to drag this nation into the bowels of self-loathing and hatred of this country and for that which she stands.

Now, we have the modern version of the same fraudulent representation and their members have no substantiation for their treasonous and subversive garbage. Every single member of this Hate Speech Group is a liar and a fraud and I am looking forward to facing them down wherever they may be found.

Winter Soldier Redux, Iraq and Afghanistan

Copying the anti-war tactics of failed 2004 Democrat Presidential candidate, John F. Kerry (D. Ma), who slandered the valor of every person who served in South Viet Nam by his 1971 "testimony" before the Fulbright Commission, Iraq Veterans Against The War are now actively seeking testimony and evidence from Veterans who say they served in either theater to "provide first hand accounts of their experiences and reveal the reality of occupation."

Taking the name of the self styled "investigation" performed by Kerry and his cohorts in Viet Nam Veterans Against the War, Winter Soldier, IVAW hopes to accomplish much the same that the anti-war resisters did in the last half of the Viet Nam conflict.

Speaking to Aaron Glantz, of the anti-war OneWorldUS, Liam Madden, a member of IVAW said,

"The war in Iraq is not covered to its potential because of how dangerous it is for reporters to cover it. That's left a lot of misconceptions in the minds of the American public about what the true nature of military occupation looks like."

Just what misconceptions Madden doesn't explain, as CBS news is reporting today that "55% Say War Was A Mistake; 59% Want U.S. Troops Home ASAP."

Copying Kerry's claim of day to day atrocities committed by the Troops, Madden also says,

"Well-publicized incidents of American brutality like the Abu Ghraib prison scandal and the massacre of an entire family of Iraqis in the town of Haditha are not the isolated incidents perpetrated by "a few bad apples," as many politicians and military leaders have claimed. They are part of a pattern of an increasingly bloody occupation."

Gerald Nicosia, also a member of IVAW, chimed in, with regards to those who gave testimony in the 1971 Winter Soldier "investigation,"

"They brought together their bonafides and wore their medals and showed it was more than one or two or three malcontents. It was medal-winning, honored soldiers -- veterans in a group verifying what each other said to try to convince people that these charges cannot be denied. That people are doing these things as a matter of policy."

Subsequent investigations mandated by Congress after Kerry's "testimony" revealed several of the "veterans" used by Kerry were in fact phonies, either never having served in the Military or grossly exaggerating claims made before the VVAW "investigation." Much of this was revealed in the 1998 book, "Stolen Valor" by B.G. Burkett, himself a Viet Nam Veteran who admits he was no hero.

Troops who committed atrocities and crimes at Abu Ghraib prison were tried, convicted and sentenced. One by one, Marines accused of crimes in Haditha are being exonerated.

Violence in Iraq has been greatly reduced thanks to President Bush and General Petraeus's Troop Reinforcement, more commonly known as "the Surge." Iraqi's that were opposed to American Troops have switched sides in record numbers to fight Al Qaeda insurgents. The American and Iraqi governments have scheduled talks aimed at ending the Battle of Iraq and bringing most of our Troops home by the end of Bush's presidency.

Committing War Crimes is a violation, not only of our laws, but also of international laws and the Geneva Conventions. Americans committing war crimes are investigated and prosecuted, if it is merited.

Nicosia sums up the IVAW motive with,

"Americans are bred deep into their psyches to think of America as a good country and, I think, much harder than just the hurdle of getting troops out of Iraq, is to get Americans to realize the terrible things we do in the name of the United States."

War crimes are not committed "in the name of the United States." None of those confessing to war crimes in 1971 were ever prosecuted. If any committed war crimes in Iraq or Afghanistan, they should confess now, not in March 2008, and face the prosecution they deserve.

No one is conscripted in today's all volunteer Military. Over all, we have some of the bravest and brightest America has to offer willfully placing themselves between our enemies and our citizens. They deserve much better than to be slandered as those who served in Viet Nam were in 1971.
